Description

Help your kids master telling time with this bundle. This packet is loaded with hands on activities that make telling time fun.

Helps to meet common core standards:

CCSS.Math.Content.1.MD.B.3 - Tell and write time in hours and half-hours using analog and digital clocks.

2.MD.C.7 - Tell and write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes using a.m. and p.m.

This packet covers:

- Time to the Hour

- Time to the Half Hour

- Quarter to the Hour

- Quarter Past the Hour

- Time to the nearest 5 minutes

All my telling time resources are color coded in the same way

1. pink - time to the hour

2. blue - quarter past the hour

3. orange - time to the half hour

4. green - quarter to the hour

5. yellow - time to the nearest 5 minutes

Clock Labels

These clock labels will help your students learn to tell time. Just print, laminate, cut and place around your clock. The labels are in five minute intervals. I have also included o'clock, quarter past, quarter after, half past, quarter to and quarter before.

2.

Telling Time by the Hour Cut and Paste Activity

This resource is a cut and paste activity. Students have to read the time, cut them out, color them, and paste them under the proper clock. When your students finish this activity you will get four great posters to display.

Color and black and white version included.

3.

Telling Time to the Half Hour Cut and Paste Activity

Another cut and paste activity, similar as number 2.

Telling Time I Have Who Has Classroom Game

I have who has is an easy-to-play game, a great way to practice with the whole class.

149 cards in total. +149 cards B&w version

Six I have, who has games included.

Directions for use are also included.

You can differentiate easily by customizing with target pages.

Telling Time Task Cards and Bang Classroom Game

These task cards and game cards will give your students plenty of practice.

This kit includes:

-144 task cards

- 6 different recording sheets

- Bang cards

Task cards are super effective, simple and fun resources for any centers, stations, partner work, individual work, classroom games. You can use these cards to play Bang or Scoot classroom game.

You can differentiate easily by customizing with target pages.

Scoot is a great game to play with task cards. Simply place a task card on each

desk in your classroom. Students move around the classroom answering questions. Children will answer the questions on

their answer sheets.

Say “SCOOT!” when you want them to move to the next number. You can go

as fast as you like.

Then you can check the answers with the class.

If you want to play BANG classroom game, just add some Bang cards,

place all the cards in a pile on the table and get ready to play the game!

Players take turns to take a card. If they know the answer, they keep the card.

If the player is incorrect, the card goes back under the pile.

Continue taking turns and collecting correctly answered cards.

If students get a BANG card, they have to give all of their cards back to you.

The player with the most cards wins the game.

Telling Time Memory Game

It takes a little time to prep a memory game, but you can re-use it for years to come.

- You have to print and cut the cards.

- If you would like to make your cards more durable you may want to laminate them or print them on heavier weight paper.

The best part about this packet is that it can be easily differentiated.

7.

Telling Time Self Checking Clip It Cards

To make the clip cards you simply:

- cut around the edge,

- fold in half and

- glue.

You can laminate them if you like.

Use a clothespin. Pick the answer.

Flip the card over to check is it correct.

8.
Foldable Clock
Help your kids master telling time with this hands on activity.

Material needed:

- scissors

- split pin

- you can either copy the template onto white paper or copy onto color paper.

Cut out the clock and put it together to practice the time! Use a split pin to put the hands on the clock.
