WHY USE THIS GOOGLE SLIDES AND POWERPOINT RESOURCE?

This resource eliminates the need for paperwork and prep by having students practice math concepts using Google Classroom or Seesaw on Chromebooks, PCs, or Macs or on PowerPoint for iPads.

Students get instant feedback if they are correct or need to try again. Reduces students going off-task to ask you if they got the answer right or wrong and keeps them engaged.

Multiple options provide scaffolding for students who need more support. Also provides challenging questions for students needing more complex work. This provides a way to challenge ALL students. No need to think how you'll differentiate for everyone--it’s already done right here for you!

HOW IT WORKS

  • Students click "Present" on the Google Slide or PowerPoint to start.
  • Students choose where to begin by selecting one of three options on the first slide
  • Each slide provides simple instructions so students know what they need to do
  • Students can have the question read to them by clicking the speaker!
  • Students choose from 3 multiple choice options for their answer
  • Students write their work for the problem on the provided accountability worksheet
  • Students are motivated by gathering an explorer story piece for each correct answer
  • All 24 problems total are separated into three differentiated groups that provide more or less scaffolding.

INCLUDED FOR THE TEACHER

  • Instructions on how to access the file and make a copy for your Google Drive
  • Video tutorials on how to assign this through Google Classroom and Seesaw
  • Setup guide for Google Classroom, including how to send the file to your students as an assignment using Chromebooks, PCs, or Macs.
