Description

Each lesson in Total Math has an aligned digital lesson reflection slide as a closure to the learning. Because these lessons are standards-based, these digital reflection slides can support any math curriculum by topic. Encouraging students to reflect on what they’re learning and how they learn has a positive impact bridging critical thinking skills and the ability to organize their thoughts. Reflective learning helps students process the learning and link it to material that they’ve encountered previously. We know first graders tend to be very literal and concrete in their thinking and communication. These open-ended questions with visuals help students to understand how to think, communicate, and reflect in new ways. Because students reflect daily with engaging and varied questions, they learn how to communicate math understanding over time which is an effective and important skill.

This is the Bundle of Digital Math Lesson Reflection Slides.
