Description

This fun and festive Valentine's Day chocolate box craft activity will help your students practice multiplying 3-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers. This resource is very easy to use—the only prep is printing! Included in this resource are 30 numbered heart-shaped boxes so that each of your students will have a unique project. Students will multiply the number found on their heart-shaped box by the number found on the cut-and-paste chocolates. Students will then write the product on each chocolate. Also included is an extra practice worksheet for your early-finishers!

This craft is fun for students, looks great in classroom displays, and helps your students practice important math skills! Students will need glue, scissors, and colors in order to complete this activity. Grade-level scissor skills are needed to complete the craft; however I have also included a copy where chocolates are already in the heart-shaped box in case you have a student with below-level scissor skills.

This math activity is aligned to the following TEKS: 5.3.B

This math activity is aligned to the following Common Core State Standards: 5.NBT.B5
