Description
This is a pre reading prezi I created to introduce "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio before starting the book.
The prezi begins with survey that students answer and discuss to get them ready for the themes of the book
The students are then shown a video reading of a children's story about what makes someone special paired with discussion questions.
Students are then introduced to a facially deformed little pup who is making a big difference.
Finally, students will view a book trailer and read a book talk.
A handout to go along with the prezi is included.
The prezi will take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the discussions it generates!
