Description
I designed these large, write on sized, “task cards”, for use at my Guided Math table. I find that even my higher level students are struggling with explaining their thought process during problem solving. Standardized testing requires students to explain their reasoning, rather than simply choose the correct solution. In my efforts to scaffold the problem solving process, I found an ever increasing need for some type of organizer. I’ve tried many over the years. I decided to create my own, and I’m very pleased with the results. Problems are leveled for easy differentiation. I hope you find that these work in your class room as well! Just make as many copies as you need for your group, laminate, or slide into sheet protectors or communicators and students can write on them with dry erase markers. Wipe clean, and reuse with the next group! Feel free to edit!
