This lesson will teach your students how to simplify expressions with negative and zero exponents. In particular, your students will be able to...

* Explain why any value raised to the 0 power is 1

* Explain the negative exponent property

* Rewrite expressions, replacing negative exponents with positive exponents

* Simplify complex exponential expressions with zero and negative exponents

You receive not only the instructional video but accompanying notes for students to complete as they watch the lesson. Answer key is also included.
