Four Cheeky Monkeys is created by an ocean loving, single mother of four (AKA four cheeky monkeys). I live on the coast in Western Australia and have been teaching early childhood for over 20 years. In addition to teaching, I have a diploma in interior design and have also worked as a home decor stylist. I love creating joyful classroom decor products that are engaging, functional and aesthetically pleasing.
If I am not teaching or creating, you will find me with my children by the ocean, surfing, swimming, or snorkelling. I am most at home surrounded by nature, I love daisies, coconut water, mangoes, listening to Ziggy Alberts and surfing in the rain - especially summer rain! X

I am a huge advocate for play based learning. I love to add a creative element to all of my work and believe that a positive classroom caters for the whole child. I believe one of the most important things we can teach children is resiliency and kindness!

'Four Cheeky Monkeys' is symbolic of my four children who mean the world to me. In addition to teaching, I also have a diploma in interior design and have worked as a stylist. I love creating products that can help create an engaging and welcoming classroom environment that both children and teachers love. If you can't find me teaching or creating, you will find me at the beach - surfing, fishing, snorkelling or paddle boarding as I get my daily dose of vitamin sea. The ocean is my happy place - oh and I absolutely love Sir David Attenborough for everything he does for our planet.
