About the store
I have taught in many different teaching and learning environments. I tutored ESL students in writing at UC Berkeley for three years as an undergraduate. After college, I tutored college students with autism for a year through the CLE programs. After earning my teaching credential, I taught a bilingual middle school English class in San Diego for 4 years. In addition, I taught summer school courses for Upward Bound, a college program for first generation, college bound minority students from low income families. I taught Spanish 1-2 in my hometown high school and am currently teaching middle school Spanish 1-2 in Redondo Beach, CA.

I love to travel the world and experience new cultures and languages. I love a great adventure. I have visited 12 countries, 42 US states, and 4 Canadian provinces. Some of my favorite states (other than California) are Massachusetts, Texas, New York and Florida! Another interesting fact about me is...All of my grandparents learned English as a second languages. Mis abuelos (mom's mom) were from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. My oma (dad's mom) was from Berlin, Germany; and my grandfather (dad's dad) was from Sinaloa, Mexico.
