Communication with parents is vital! Most of my students are non-verbal so I created a form that is sent home with daily information. It's a quick checklist system to make things easy. This form is for one week (Monday-Friday) and includes columns to record daily behavior, restroom (toileting), therapy sessions and snack (eating habits).

Easy data collection with a goal chart! This blank chart can document one student's goals or multiple student's goals. I share an example showing how you can embed goals into each part of your school day (matrix is 5 by 5 boxes with headers for columns/rows). Get rid of all those sticky notes! These diaper alert mini slips are perfect for early childhood or daycare programs. Print one and slice away-no more writing notes to parents about diapers. These can be stapled to backpack straps, placed in communication folders or given out during parent pick-up. We all know what happens the day you have a sick child without diapers!

Who doesn't love a good data collection form! This chart has 12 rows and 15 columns (3 weeks of data). It's easy to use with space at the top to write/type your IEP goal or behaviors that you are tracking.

Parents and teachers are busy these days! Once you've sent home the meeting notice, it's nice to pop in a quick reminder for those hectic days. There is space at the bottom of each sheet for you to add your contact information either by writing it in or using a sticker label. You can also use the Print Screen feature on your computer to cut the PDF down, insert the information and send by email.

I created this document to show one month of behavior/classwork completion on one page. My student was given the choice of stickers or stamps to reward positive behavior choices and classwork completion. This form went back and forth between home and school and was an awesome reward system! I used the first column for behavior and the second for classwork. This IEP meeting checklist is perfect to keep track of where you are in the IEP writing process. This schedule is a great starting point if you are a first-year teacher, are planning to start your own home daycare or you are homeschooling your children! It's based on the 3 hour program that I use in my classroom. For children age 2 to 6, I would recommend each activity be no longer than 20 minutes but feel free to adjust this schedule so it works for you!

I use this game in my classroom every month! This set contains uppercase letters A to Z and numerals 0-9. I printed mine on bright yellow card stock and had it laminated (for the size this set I used two file folders). File folder games are great to use as learning centers, small group or individual group work. They can also help with assessment of basic concepts.
