This poster gives a visual for 8 different strategies that can be used to add, including: Draw Base Ten, Expanded Form, Draw a Number Line, Use a 100s Chart, Place Value, Make Ten, Count On and Doubles.
It is editable so you can change or add any strategies that you would like easily.
Most strategies have a picture representative as well. Once I print off this poster each year, I draw on it top make or add to a sample of each strategy.
