Math Addition Strategy Doubles and Near Doubles Resource/Anchor Chart
I was finding that I needed a resource/anchor chart for my students to refer to throughout the year for better understanding and fluency with the addition strategy of doubles and near doubles, so this resource was created! There is a version that has the answers already filled in and also a version where the students fill in their answers. Adding With Decimals - Your Name in Gold
Students will use the letters in their own name to find the "value" of their name.
This project supports children to use a chart, add and multiply with decimals (money), and create large equations.
Students will be required to use problem solving strategies; they will need to create their own equations to find the value of their name.
An extension to this project is also provided for students that require a greater challenge.

Two Digit by Two Digit Multiplication Worksheet
This is a 20 question worksheet.
Questions 1-10 are meant to be solved using expanded algorithm (arrays, area models and place value charts are suggested in the directions)
Questions 11-20 are all two digit numbers multiplied by multiples of ten. These are meant to be solved using the shortcut method.
I use this worksheet as a review for these strategies before teaching my fourth graders standard algorithm.

Mulitiplication and Division skip counting chart
This chart lists all the factors and multiples in a chart form. Your students can use this to practice their facts as well as a tool for their daily work. This free download is a set of instructions for how to play hundreds chart bingo. Each sheet makes two sets of instructions. Laminate them to last longer! I use quart size plastic bags to organize my math games and place one set of directions and all necessary materials in the baggie.
