You can help your students & parents get ready for school each day with this easy-to-use, picture poster. Laminating it is a good idea as well.
It's a great tool to include in your Meet The Teacher packet ~ parents will LOVE it!
Go over it with your students & parents. You could even stage a "practice."
Recommend a review everyday (with a checklist) until it becomes a habit for the child.
I'd love to hear how this works for you, your students & their parents.

Twenty six rotating responsibilities for a class of 24. Pages are the perfect size for a small index card with child's name to velcro in the center. My class loves these! I use them from year to year.
Ask me badges are for those students that can be designated as teacher helpers so that you can be free to help others that require your help and assistance. You can cut and put these into nametag badges from office depot or walmart and then clip them to assigned students to help you out with helping others.
This is a weekly checklist for your students who are on RTI behavior OR for your ESE students wtih BIP's. I use this with most of my ESE students who need a Behavior Intervention Plan. The 2nd page does not have the periods listed, so you can write them in or write in specific classes. I usually give my students a reward if they earn all 2's at the end of each week!
This file contains weekly activities for vocabulary words, lists of words and weekly tests. The words on these lists are pulled from various sites listing big words for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. This can be used in the lower grades for enrichment or in the upper grades for remediation.
This is a 3-part card work for your language shelves in your Montessori classroom. You will print, cut, laminate and put in a folder so students can complete as independent work after the group lesson. A traditional classroom could use this as a center work as an extension for learning about informational text features.
I have multiple sets of rules. There is a set for the classroom, hallway, bathroom, bus, and recess. Each rule falls under an expectation, be safe, be kind, be responsible.

Having parents need help with weekend schedules, I have made a schedule for the weekend for one of my parents. The schedule is completely editable with Microsoft Publisher. This must be used in publisher for it to work. This helps parents keep a schedule that is used at school.
This is a behavior chart that can be used daily. I use it for my students that have behavior issues. I go over it each day with the child and they help fill it out themselves. This is an easy way for them to monitor their progress. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License.
