While I typically use these as an interactive, high-five game, this year brings challenges that mean students will need to have more independent time at their desks. As sad as I am about this, I hope these practice cards, with questions on one side and answers on the other, can be used to give students practice that is a little more exciting than boring practice worksheets. I have a bundle set of 14 games which can be great to give students their own set, rotating each few days to prevent the sh

Here is a Math Skills Worksheet that provides practice in writing numbers in expanded form or expanded notation. Doing the problems will show students the place value of each digit. On the worksheet, students are provided the standard forms of 2 and 3 digit numerals and directed to fill in the parenthesis and spaces to reach expanded notation. There are 12 problems in all, which would work perfectly for a quick quiz assessment. The worksheet can also provide needed practice for 3rd and 4th grade
This quiz asks students to multiply large numbers. An example is:

After teaching students that you count the zeros and add that many to the product, they should easily know that the answer is 1,800,000. This is also a great way to help them understand comma placement in large numbers!
This ten question math assessment assesses student's knowledge of Algebraic Thinking Standard 5OAB3. It requires students to complete function tables given a rule, identify a common coordinate point based on two rules, and plot points on a coordinate grid based on a given rule.
This addition with regrouping quiz can serve as a quick assessment. Students are assessed on adding 2-3 digit numbers with regrouping, solving word problems with regrouping and solving problems involving money.
I have created 8 mini quizzes of the multiplication facts for 0-12. There are 4 to a page. Ideally you can print 4 on the front and 4 on the back. I use 1 quiz per day as a review for after I have taught the multiplication facts. Since all the facts are different, I just have the students continue each day onto the next quiz.
