Looking for a fun way to engage students in practicing area and perimeter skills? How about designing a beach towel? This project can be differentiated for a class of diverse learners and the combination of math and art will hold their attention. The finished product is great as a bulletin board display or as a desk display for a math night or other event. There are different options included as well as a rubric.
