If you do not have access to these counters at your school you can use the website provided as a virtual manipulative, or you can create counters by using "chips" like tiddily winks, or even foam squares (glue two sheets together for the two colored sides).

The second activity is adding integers using positive and negative chips. You will have to have decks of playing cards to play, I typically have my students draw the positive and negative chips.
