For Jack you could leave some beans near some soil and have some pots and a watering can. Students discuss what type of beans/seeds they are and what they might grow. Try and get them to think of a story or tv show where plants grow.
These are very basic cards that can be printed on card stock. I have chosen light blue and black as these are a suggestion for students with dyslexia. I hope you will try them out. Just a good tool to have for any teacher or to send home with your kids who need to learn their numbers. You could even laminated them and let them use a dry erase marker to practice writing the numbers and drawing how many.

This is a weekly checklist for your students who are on RTI behavior OR for your ESE students wtih BIP's. I use this with most of my ESE students who need a Behavior Intervention Plan. The 2nd page does not have the periods listed, so you can write them in or write in specific classes. I usually give my students a reward if they earn all 2's at the end of each week!
I have multiple sets of rules. There is a set for the classroom, hallway, bathroom, bus, and recess. Each rule falls under an expectation, be safe, be kind, be responsible.

Having parents need help with weekend schedules, I have made a schedule for the weekend for one of my parents. The schedule is completely editable with Microsoft Publisher. This must be used in publisher for it to work. This helps parents keep a schedule that is used at school.
This is a behavior chart that can be used daily. I use it for my students that have behavior issues. I go over it each day with the child and they help fill it out themselves.
