Practicing simple sentence structure
Practice a simple sentence structure using motor, visual and auditory cues. Parts of speech are color coded to match a colored circle. Cut out the colored circles and place them in front of the student in the correct order. The student touches each circle as she says each part of speech. It reinforces the production of articles and helping verbs. The individual word cards can be used separately to allow you to vary the subject and verb with pictures or objects you already have.

This is an Excel spreadsheet in which you can track your student's Fall CPAA data.
I have color-coded it as follows:
54-60 (90-100%) = Blue (Above Grade Level)
48-53 (80-89%) = Green (At Grade Level)
36-47 (60-79%) = Yellow (Approaching Grade Level)
1-35 (0-59%) = Red (Below Grade Level)

This is a data collection form I use for my students who have benchmarked IEP academic goals. I color code it for two reasons: 1) I also color code my lesson plans and can go back and look at why a student was doing really well or why they struggled based on the activity that week 2) because data is boring and color makes everything more fun!
