Letter to Parents: Classroom Rules and Expectations
This is a template of a letter that can be sent home to parents at the beginning of the school year. It outlines behavioral expectations and consequences. It also has a portion at the bottom for the parent to sign and return to the teacher.

Middle School Classroom Rules, Working Agreement, and Violation Letter
This document is used in a middle school classroom, where students have come up with the ideas and declared them fair. Included are a set of rules for students to keep, a document for students to sign that they agree to the rules (teacher can collect and keep in their file for documentation), and a letter to parents that comes back signed, when a student violates the agreed upon rules.

This is a handout I use with my class the first day of school to review standard rules, routines and procedures, such as my homework policy, behavior policy and everyday routines, etc.

Classroom Expectations Matrix
I use this Matrix to set up my classroom expectations and give students a visual of my overall expectations, in every given situation. You can tailor yours to the needs of your classroom/students. I have found it especially helpful with redirections and teaching behaviors at the beginning of the year. Students have this visual in their notebooks and I often will reference it when they are not meeting the expectations. Mine would be best for MS or HS, but this can be tailored for Elementary too

Daily Behavior Expectations / Documentation EDITABLE
