FFA Member Points Google Sheet

A super simple way to increase chapter involvement and to keep track of your FFA members' activity involvement! You can change to your local events and activities and change the points values as you see fit. This also includes categories and point values of different FFA activities. I've used this to give an award to the most involved students at the end-of-year banquet. You could assign FFA secretary or historian to update periodically and keep a top 10 list on the board for students to see.

Post-Test Questionnaire

After a big test or quiz, students sometimes need a chance to breathe. I give them what I call a Post-Test Questionnaire - a half-sheet where they can answer True/False to a couple of short questions, and then tell me two things they enjoy about the class, two things they would like to see differently, and anything else they may feel the need to share. In the 11 years that I have been doing this, I have learned of things students appreciated that I have done for them that I may not have thou

Spreadsheet Gradebook for 2014-15

I've taken our Quarter system and made a spreadsheet for the year. It has school holidays added which can be changed easily. There is one page that is an example page that shows comments with a sample student and how to use the spreadsheet. This is a simple "average the grades" spreadsheet. Different categories count more (quizzes count 2x while tests count 4x). The semesters are cummulative for our district but can be easily changed :) Enjoy!

I use this data sheet to increase behavior awareness for students and to help keep data on IEP goals and objectives. There is a positive reinforcement piece where the student works for "behavior bucks" and then is able to spend it on different rewards...I try to have the rewards be something other than toys or snacks...such as extra game time, recess, computer time, lunch with a teacher, etc.

This classroom management tool will help you decrease the number of students sent to the office. It also allows you to continue teaching while the disruptive student takes a moment to reflect on his or her own behavior. (I do not have time to leave class in order to lecture one student on bad behavior and leave 29 more waiting!) After the student completes the ReFOCUS sheet, you will have a written confession in the student's own words of the behavior to add to your file, send to a parent, or i
