Data tracking! Track your students data on Math MAP tests for BOY(beginning of year) and MOY (middle of year) then calculate the growth/drop in next "total" column. Once kids take the EOY (end of year) test, document their score, then calculate the growth or lack of in the final total column (I usually do BOY to EOY in the last column to compare beginning to end of year) I also use red ink for any student who may decrease and green ink for those who show growth.
