These sticker charts are simple to use, yet an effective classroom management strategy. In this blog post, I explain how I like to use sticker charts. When I started teaching, I didn't have any teaching resources, so I grabbed some pieces of construction paper, wrote the teachers names on them, and laminated them. Reading Incentive Bookmark
This is an incentive bookmark created for students who self-monitor while reading. Each time you notice a child self-monitoring independently during a guided reading or small group reading lesson or reading conference, mark their bookmark with a marker or hole punch. Once the student fills up the bookmark, he/she may receive an incentive for reading. I have used coupons for reading to a stuffed animal, reading in a special new chair or spot in the classroom, using a pen for responding to text! T
