Lesson planning grid page for Middle/High School
This is a basic color coded 8 period lesson planning form for teachers to use to plan their weekly lessons in the middle or high school level classroom. The headings are left blank so that the teacher may type or write in the names and times of each period they teach. This lesson plan grid can be printed and used in a teacher binder, or it can be simply opened in Excel or Adobe Pdf and lessons can be typed into the grid directly on a computer or iPad. The perfect solution to handing out incentives, without giving out sweets!
Each page has a number of gaps to be filled with stars/stickers, once one Merit section has been filled, they move onto the next Merit section. You begin with White, then Blue, then Maroon, then Silver and lastly, Gold.
Create an incentive at the end of each Merit code. For example: Once they have reached the 'Blue' Merit award, they may have 5 minutes extra break etc. And perhaps once they reach the 'Gold' Merit stage

Students research mathematicians who have made famous and well known mathematical discoveries that have led to the mathematics they learn today. Some of the mathematicians are known by name, while others are known by their work. This project targets Common Core Technology Standards, mainly for grades 6-8.
