ASD Classroom Lock-Down or CODE RED procedure: In our school, a lock-down or CODE RED is when all students and staff sit quietly in a safe place in their classrooms with the doors locked and out of sight from hallway, doors and windows. The reason we would need to have a CODE RED would be because there was an intruder in the school building and we are not sure if they are a safe person. It is very rare that we would need to use this procedure, but it is always VERY IMPORTANT that we practice it
