Family Regulation Plan – Editable & Printable Tool for Families

When one child struggles with big emotions, it’s easy for the focus to fall only on them — which can unintentionally create shame or isolation. The Family Regulation Plan shifts that focus from “the problem child” to “the family team.”This trauma-informed tool helps every family member build their own calm-down plan, identify what support they need, and discover how they can help others when emotions run high. It turns regulation into a shared practice, not a solo skill. Perfect For In-hom

Grant: Winning Proposal for an Outdoor Campus Picnic Area

This is a winning grant proposal for an outdoor campus picnic area. Lowe's Toolbox for Education foundation awarded $4,000 in 2008 to purchase materials to build a picnic area on our campus. We were able to create an outdoor area for activities and class lunch time. The area was created by installing white vinyl fence panels for the backdrop and adding mulch, plants, bushes, trees and picnic tables. This was a great community project for the staff, students and parents.

IEP Cheat Sheet to fill out when reviewing IEP's sometimes helpful to give to classroom teacher! I usually do a separate spreadsheet for the service grid, but this is helpful so teachers know what student goals are and accommodations they should be providing in the classroom. Copy and paste for as many students as you have. I use the same template every year.
