Test Correction Forms

Created by

After every test, I require students to fix all of their mistakes (regardless of how well they did). This form requires students to not only find a new answer, but to identify where they went wrong, so they hopefully won't make similar mistakes in the future. I allow students to get help and use any resources they can for these corrections, and they count as a quiz grade. This also helps students improve their grade a bit if they didn't do well on the original assessment. This works very well

"Think- Pair - Share" is a great strategy for differentiating learning and keeping students on task, resulting in more effective student learning. This strategy is also a very effective classroom management tool --it keeps students involved and provides opportunities for teachers to check for understanding. Think-Pair-Share has many benefits to student learning--builds in wait-time; provides rehearsal for responses; enhances depth and breadth of thinking; increases level of participation; ke

Teacher Appreciation Week Labels for French Students

Promote your program! Get Enrollments in French! Share fun facts about why learning French is important! I used these labels to give pencils to students who are about to sign up for French! They can be used as labels for little gifts like pencils or other treats. I've left it as a word document so you can modify it to fit your needs (and to change facts as numbers increase). It worked really well to increase the visibility of my French classes throughout the school to younger students who ha

Mental Health Check-in - Google form - Editable

This is an editable Google Form version of my "Friday Feels" -- Every week I have students check-in with me regarding their mental health. I respond to them individually within the same hour. Since we've gone online, it was extremely important, now more than ever, that I continue this tradition! I created a Google Form with two parts: feedback about how online learning is going and their mental health reflection. I made this a "quiz" so that I can reply quickly to each individual via the "releas

On the first day of school, I explain to the students that if they feel sick, I'm going to ask them first to do W.O.W. which stands for "Water, Oxygen, Wait." It's amazing how many students feel better after doing "W.O.W."If a student comes to me and says they don't feel good, I point them toward the sign hung near our drinking fountain.
