I have used many different ways over the years to accomplish this. This form provides a template to have students reflect on the test items as they relate to standards and skills on the assessment and to consider the types of mistakes and ways they get problems incorrect. Behavior Reflection

This behavior reflection is an assigned consequence I use in my classroom as a form of classroom management. It is similar to punish work, but is meant to help student to reflect on the poor behavior that caused a disruption to the classroom. It can also be used as a means of parent contact, as I require my students to return to school with a parent signature on the following day.

This sheet is a great way for students to reflect in their performance and help them set targeted goals for themselves! This should be given to them after a mid-unit quiz so they can set goals for their performance on a unit assessment. You can see on the second page, or like I use it: the back of the sheet, I provide the standard(s) being assessed and instead of setting a goal like "I will improve from 60% to 80% in standard 7.EE.B.4a by....." students should use the description and verbiage of

Freebie_Student Learning Reflection Page

This is a page I created for students to keep in their "Reflection Journals". This page helps students organize their own thoughts about a Learning Goal, or Essential Question. This is a handout that I copy on different colors of paper for each subject, and allow the students time at the end of lesson (particularly the end of a unit of study) to reflect on their learning, and get in the habit to taking ownership, celebrating success, and asking specific questions when help is still needed!

Need to track a student's behavior for an IEP/BIP/504 or just as an extra tool! Then this behavior reflection tracker is for you! I have used this for many years for grades 3-8. Not only does it track behavior but it also has the student do a reflection on their behavior as well. Pair it with a positive reward or as a teaching tool with your students. I have used this as the beginning process before behavior analysts are able to get involved.

It’s very abstract until we give them space to write it down and reflect on what they can improve on the next week. On Fridays, your students can reflect and rate themselves in order to set goals. When your students hand it in at the end of the week, you will be able to have a clear understanding of the g

Retaking tests in math is an important option. This form has made a big difference for my students because it puts the responsibility back on them to get extra help prior to the retake. I also have connected it to homework completion and reflection. Students are asked to use resources like their text, the teacher, or the internet. It can be easily modified for whatever you feel is helpful for your students.
