Interventions for Speech in General Education Classroom

Created by
Joy in Teaching
Here is a one page document that you can give to classroom teachers give them some ideas on how to help students with articulation and/or language difficulties in the classroom. At my school, we use it to help teachers provide some "intervention" before the student qualifies for special education. Since it is one page, it can be laminated and hung on a bulletin board or somewhere that a teacher can quickly glance at it to remember how to help students.

I developed this rubric system to simplify my data collection and allow me to include subjective judgements and convert that into objective data.
