Inside my substitute folder that is housed in our school office, I keep a bound 3-page reference that is easy to follow and retrieve information from. The document is created in Microsoft Publisher, so please be sure that you have access to Microsoft Publisher before purchasing....usually schools have the software downloaded, so if you don't have it at home, check your school computer.

An editable document to plan for each grade, month by month on what units to teach and when. Meant for the elementary music teacher. But could be used for the elementary teacher, but change the grade levels to subjects.

Check In / Check Out Card Reward PBIS SIT GEI RTI Customizable
As a facilitator for the SIT / GEI Team, we are constantly needing an easy way for teachers to incorporate rewards and interactions with other staff or parents regarding behaviors. There is a student with severe behavioral issues on my caseload who also requires visuals. This version of a check-in/check-out sheet really works for him because he can earn points even if he messes up a little bit, and he can see what comes next in his day. They are easy to write on if changes to the schedule happen. Suggestion: Laminate to use day to day with a dry-erase marker.

This is our fourth grade handbook that we give to all parents at the begining of the year. This is includes a welcome letter, homework policy, grading rubric, birthday policy, information for back to school night, as well as descritions of all subjects taught in fourth grade. This file can be edited, so that you can customize it for your own school and classroom.
