This worksheet was made with the purpose of exploring not only vocabulary from the story, but also all around comprehension. It´s a simple ludic worksheet where children will draw their own expressions of wood, straw and bricks, remembering the key elements of a house. Enjoy!

This is quick powerpoint for over seeing pond animals. It includes ten animals that have a pond as their habitat and can help explore colors as well as number and animal names.

This was a video I made for a song that I am unable to link to the video but I can send through e-mail after you download it. The song goes as follows: "4 little frogs, sitting by a pond 1 dissapears when I wave my wand 1 goes away, how many stay, let´s all count and see." It teaches young learners to count backwards from 4 to 1 and is part of the lesson which speaks about pond animals. HAVE FUN!

This worksheet explores the present continuous tense. More specifically the actions performed within the story: sitting, sleeping, eating... Those actions are interwined with knowledge of the names of rooms of the house. Although there are 3 different exercises in different formats, they all focus on the association of rooms of a house and identification of the actions explored in the story.

This handout is aimed at 3 and 4 year olds and is to be done with close teacher supervision. They are to recognize the shapes that put together the house in the picture and then fill out the answers with the numbers within the box. I made this for my class at Espaço Ativo, but you can easily take away the frame and use the activity. Hope you enjoy!!!
