This is quick powerpoint for over seeing pond animals. It includes ten animals that have a pond as their habitat and can help explore colors as well as number and animal names.

AT THE POND
This was a video I made for a song that I am unable to link to the video but I can send through e-mail after you download it. The song goes as follows:
"4 little frogs, sitting by a pond
1 dissapears when I wave my wand
1 goes away, how many stay, let´s all count and see."
It teaches young learners to count backwards from 4 to 1 and is part of the lesson which speaks about pond animals.

HOUSE SHAPES
This handout is aimed at 3 and 4 year olds and is to be done with close teacher supervision. They are to recognize the shapes that put together the house in the picture and then fill out the answers with the numbers within the box.
I made this for my class at Espaço Ativo, but you can easily take away the frame and use the activity.

Teaching style
My day to day activities for the classroom are based on ludicity. There is always a fun element, be it a game, an arts project, a video, culinary project, song, or all of them together on certain days.
I try to mix up the multiple inteligence theory with Vygotsy and Piaget because I believe each of them is correct in part, and together the theories make for better learning.
My own education history
I have been a teacher for several years now. Initially a law student, I taught "on the sides", but am currently studying Pedagogy with a focus in bilingualism.
