Multisyllabic Words: Artic, Phonological Awareness, Apraxia, Speech Therapy
Syllable reduction significantly decreases a child's intelligibility. I created this product to help children practice producing multisyllabic words and identifying the number of syllables within a word. Pacing syllable dots are included to give a visual representation of how many syllables they need to produce. I usually have the child touch the syllable dots as they are producing their words and then fade to independent productions. Two sizes of pictures are included based on the student's

CVC word cards, increase hand strength, spelling and phonic connections
I use these laminated cards as literacy centres, making lots of clothes pegs with a vowel written on them and having the children make as many words as they can by clipping the peg into the vowel space, then writing each word onto a whiteboard or sheet of paper.
Doing this, they are also increasing their fine motor control and muscle strength in their hands.
You could also have the children write the vowel onto the card with a dry-erase marker.
