Place Value Jeopardy Game Project - Editable

When my high-achieving students compact out of place value and the 4.NBT standards, I use this Jeopardy game project to challenge them. This EDITABLE page includes directions, expectations, vocabulary, and a rubric. *NOTE: this does not come with the Jeopardy PPT template. I downloaded mine free after searching "free Jeopardy powerpoint template".

This is a simple project I assigned to students who passed Everyday Math Unit 5 as a pre-test. The project allows for student voice and choice, while they use decomposing and the addition of fractions to create a meal plan for a weekend getaway. I uploaded the project as an editable document, so feel free to change anything you feel necessary! Please rate and comment!

House Design Project

This project will take students through the designing of a house using grid paper. Students will apply concepts like area, perimeter, multiplication, division, and spatial reasoning. I highly recommend using the graph paper from: http://www.printfreegraphpaper.com/gp/c-m-5.pdf for this project. This project will take about 2 to 2.5 weeks for students to complete. I've included a rubric for grading as well. If you have any questions about the project, feel free to ask questions in the comment

This is a math project for upper elementary or middle school students. Students inherit a large sum of money and must spend it all in a short amount of time. This unit covers banking, discounts, and sales tax. I use this with my middle school special education math class and with certain accommodations, my students do very well with the assignment and like it a lot. This is a two week unit, perfect for the end of the year. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Students cut out items they wish for and glue them down in their wish book. I send home a letter in early November asking for holiday catalogs. I also allow students to find and print items online. They need to show their work and correctly add the
