Students use string and ruler to calculate circumference, diameter, and radius of oatmeal cream pies. There are extension calculation questions at the end to assess students' understanding of circumference formulas. This is a great activity for 4th-8th graders learning about circumference and the best part, students have a lot of fun doing this! This guiding worksheet has clear instructions and students will be able to complete it independently with little or no guidance from the teacher.
