This is designed to support the teacher during a guided reading session. Based on the article "Targeting Prompts When Scaffolding Word Solving During Guided Reading" (see reference below), these prompts remind the teacher to help students solve difficult words by beginning support at Level 1 prompting, and gradually increase the level of support until a student is able to read the word.
