This is a formative assessment (quiz) on geometric similarity, simplifying radicals, ratios and proportions, and "stacked" triangles (similar triangles which share a vertex).
There are two versions of the quiz, and each quiz is two pages, for a total of four pages.

Learning Target: I can use my knowledge of surface area and volume to solve real world problems about cylinders and rectangular prisms. The document will be a word download so you can edit as needed.
This is a quiz that requires students to "write" the definitions and to tell the angles that satisify the definition. It includes: vertical, linear pairs, alternate exterior/interior, same-side exterior/interior, adjacent angles, and corresponding angles. A picture of parallel lines with angles numbered is included.
Aligned with Chapter 8 of the Glencoe-McGraw Hill Geometry Textbook, this is a quiz over some of the tools of geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem and proportions. It was intended for a remedial high school geometry class, so would be appropriate for middle-school aged students as well as a quick review for higher-level learners.
Test Review associated with Guided Notes - Lesson 7.1 to Guided Notes - Lesson 7.8 Objectives: - Students will be able to solve percent word problems - Students will be able to determine the probability of an event - Students will be able to determine the probability of a conditional event - Students will be able to determine the probability of an event with replacement and without replacement - Students will be able to use circle graphs to illustrate and interpret information
Geometry Angles and Arcs Circle Quiz:
Quiz covers all angles and arcs that can occur within circles. 8 problems, with high quality pictures. Key included. (can be used as homework)
A 7 question multiple choice quiz where students have to use one of the laws to come to a conclusion. Questions 1 through 4 are using law of detachment and 5 through 7 are using law of syllogism.
This 17 Question quiz covers all types of angles formed by a transversal. Tests their knowledge of types of angles used, and how they are related. It is a good assessment to check where the class is at a point in time.
This can be used for a number of things.

Students are asked to define: acute, obtuse, complementary and supplementary angles and provide an example of each. Students are also asked to use a protractor to create angles and label them with given angle measures. Includes an extra credit question.
An 11 question quiz combining the Law of Sines/Cosines and SOH CAH TOA. Solving triangles are at the beginning, graphing with SOH CAH TOA is in the middle and word problems are included at the end.
Aligned with Chapter 3 of the Glencoe-McGraw Hill Geometry Textbook, this is a quiz over some of the tools of geometry including naming angle pairs when parallel lines are cut by a transversal. It was intended for a remedial high school geometry class, so would be appropriate for middle-school aged students as well as a quick review for higher-level learners.

This is a quiz I use after teaching students how to use construction tools to rotate and reflect as well as how to find lines of reflectional symmetry and angles of rotational symmetry.
This trigonometry quiz tests students' understanding of reference angles, coversions between radians and degrees, and odd and even functions. This is a multiple choice test. The answer is included on the 3rd and 4th pages and marked in red.

My geometry students need practice with proving triangles congruent using SSS, SAS, ASA, HL, SAA, and they also need practice applying these congruence shortcuts to figures in which the parts don't necessarily "line up," or in figures requiring them to use vertical angles are the reflexive property of congruence.

Make teaching Voronoi diagrams stress-free and engaging with this complete lesson bundle designed for IB Math Applications and Interpretations (AI). This resource guides students from conceptual exploration to formal definitions and rigorous practice, making it ideal for both SL and HL students. Students begin with an intuitive investigation of Voronoi diagrams, develop formal understanding with structured notes, and then work through examples that gradually increase in difficulty. Whether y
This is a Jeopardy game designed to be a review quadrilaterals and polygons. It covers polygons, parallelograms, rhombuses, rectangles, squares, and trapezoids. It will take at least one full period to complete. This file includes the entire game in an interactive PowerPoint presentation. The categories are Rhombuses, Squares, Rectangles, Parallelogram Properties, Trapezoids, and Polygons and Angle Measures. Each category has five questions of increasing difficulty. - Maureen Ordnung
