One sheet of paper has rational numbers that are color coded. They must place them in order from least to greatest, and record them on their other sheet. There are 5 different rounds.

Build a Park Project - Multiplying and Dividing Fractions and Decimals
Students will solve four problems under each objective: multiplying fractions, dividing fractions, multiplying decimals and dividing decimals. (One word problem included in each.) After solving students will design parks according to their answers.
Rubric included for grading.

FRACTION DECIMAL PERCENT CONVERSION TRIANGLE
This is a great resource for an interactive notebook. Good colored visual for kids to use when doing any fraction, decimal, percent conversion. You can print in color where each step is color coded to the steps of the conversion. You can also print in black and white and have the kids color code the arrows with the corresponding steps using colored pencils or highlighters.

Menu Project - Apply Percents to the Real World
The Menu Project allows students to apply percents to the real world in a personal and fun way! Students will design their own menu on Microsoft Word or w/Paper & Pencil using a given template or one of their own design. After students complete their own menus following the rubric (two appetizers, three drinks, three main courses, and three desserts), students will take orders from teachers or other students from their designed menus.
