4 Point Written Response Rubric
This 4 point Written Response Rubric can be used for any discipline and with a variety of lessons.
I have used bullet points and simplified language so that it is student-friendly and easy to read.
Color coding helps me explain to students that they should aim to be "in the green" and not "in the red".
I have used this successfully with both formative and summative assessments.

This color-coded chart, printable on 8 1/2" x 11" paper, is designed to teach the Order of Operations to Algebra 1 students, expanding the traditional PEMDAS to PE RMDAS, which include " Roots", as the inverse operation of " Exponents".
