I use this Order of Operations PowerPoint lesson and resources to teach my students how to solve expressions brackets, braces, parentheses, and multiple operations. I have changed the traditional "PEMDAS" acronym and write it a different way for my students (see the anchor chart in the preview images). It has completely changed their understanding of this topic!
