This can be use in a guided practice. One page has room to work the word problem on the page. The other is designed to be more as a handout for printing or online whiteboard use.

I created this recording page to help students practice the whole process of solving number stories. I encourage my students to look for key words in the story, draw a picture, and make a number model. We use the Everyday Math curriculum so they also fill out Unit boxes for their number stories. There is a page with the unit boxes and one without. Enjoy!
