Combining Volume Google Slides Lesson
These slides were originally made for my 5th grade math class. Every year, students are challenged by finding the volume of composite figures. There are limited resources to practice this in our program. These google slides use color coding to help students see the individual rectangular prisms within the figure! I hope these help your students as they did mine!

Geoboard Challenge
This is a great math center game if you have some geoboards and rubber bands laying around! You could also use it with the geoboard app. I print these on cardstock and slip them into page protectors so students can write on them with a dry erase marker and re-use them! I noticed my students would often just make random designs on their geoboard so I made this to give them a little more guidance and vocabulary to use as they created shapes. Great for K-2.

Quadrilaterals Hierarchy Sort
Sorting quadrilaterals is a challenging activity for students, and they need a lot of practice. This sort can be used two ways as you build upon essential foundational knowledge of classifying shapes by angles and lines. As with all shapes, we’re analyzing lines and angles. Pi Day Circles 3x3 SCRAMBLE Logic Puzzle Brain Teaser
This is such a surprisingly fun and challenging puzzle. No prep. Students cut the pieces out and try to reassemble them into a 3x3 square so that the shapes on touching sides are whole. Surface Area Journal Resource
This product explains how to find the surface area of a rectangular prism.
