Earth's Rotation and Shadows
Understanding Earth’s rotation and shadows can be challenging for students. This resource provides three engaging activities to help reinforce the concept: Students are given a specific time and will draw the sun’s position along with the corresponding shadow. Students are shown a shadow and will determine the time of day, then draw the sun’s position. Students are provided with the sun’s position and will determine the time of day and draw the corresponding shadow.
