Except for a few, my students all speak both English and Spanish. A few of my students do not have any English at all except for hello. I created this place value chart to help both my English speakers and my Spanish speakers follow along during a lesson on place value. Don't forget to return to my store and post your feedback! If you have any questions or suggestions, please e-mail me before posting feedback. Thanks!

I use this for when I have small groups that need help with finding place value and/or reading numbers. I laminated my copies, so that students may write on them, and wipe off and reuse.

This is a resource for teaching place value. Have students fill in the chart to practice creating numbers. For instance, "Write a 3 in the tens place, a 4 in the hundredths place, a 6 in the thousands place, a 7 in the millions place and a 5 in all other places. What is the number?" Or "Write a five digit number with a 2 in the thousands place, a 5 in the tenths place, an 8 in the tenths place and a 3 in the other two places. What is the number?"

This Place Value Chart helps students see how numbers are divided into periods and that each period has a sections for ones, tens, and hundreds (followed by the period's name). This chart also shows students where to place commas, and they soon learn to "read" the commas by stating the name of each period that the comma follows.

These checklists complement my Number and Place Value Pre/Post Assessments. After marking the tests, input the data into these checklists to see what each student knows and where there are gaps. There is a checklist for each level in the Victorian curriculum (F-7). It should be similar to other curriculums. Please let me know if you’d like me to adapt this to match another curriculum. Feel free to use one, multiple or all, depending on which assessments your students completed. There are two

This would be great if you have a student that needs additional support with place value when adding and subtracting. This is used to put the numbers in the correct place. Also, the small boxes can be used to use for carrying or borrowing.

It includes notes to fill in, blank example sheets, and blank charts to use on assignments. While teaching 4th grade math in summer school this year I needed some specific things in my place value chart. I was unable to find the perfect one so I made one and I'd like to share it with you. It is editable! I printed out a copy and then inserted it into a dry erase pocket for the students to use well at centers. They were able to use it while working on individual work as well. It was helpful during interventions. I paired it with place value disks and base 10 blocks while we working thro
