Civil War Generals Killed in Action (Union, Confederate) - Project Topics
This list helps student researchers focus on specific events and timeframes of the U.S. Civil War. There are 19 individual fatalities in 14 battles. (8 Union, 11 CSA) Student products might include powerpoint, shadow boxes, oral presentations, role-playing and/or research papers. Graduates of the U.S. military academy at West Point fought on both sides. There was strong identification with one's home state.
