Students are fully engaged because our lessons are usually "chunked" into smaller units of activities. This serves middle school and high school teachers well. These lessons often include practice with academic vocabulary, literary elements, literature and non-fiction study, as well as developing writing skills across the genres. Students may gain practice in writing business letters, essays regarding autobiographical incidents, persuasive essays, speeches, literary analysis papers and research projects. Whether you have a group of young 7th graders or senior students preparing for college, there will be elements you can use to help your students become more skilled.
