Free Solving One and Two Step Equations: Basic Guided Notes

Solving One and Two Step Equations Guided Notes:This is a set of guided notes designed to show students how to solve one and two step equations. Answer keys are included! I give my students these guided notes one page at a time. Then, I post them on the smart board and we fill them out together. When we fill them out I have students read the notes out loud to include literacy in the lesson. The students then have the notes as a resource to use when they complete assignments on solving equations

Domain, Range, & Equation for Linear-Based Word Problem - Good Intro to topic

I created this worksheet to help my students complete word problems that have multiple questions in them, and that are about writing equations and determining domain and range if it is a function. The worksheet starts with a word problem that asks the students to do three things for their answer: 1) write an equation, 2) determine if the equation is a function, and 3) if it is a function, determine the domain and range. The worksheet walks the students through the problem to help them work it

Multiplying Polynomials

Ready to go guided notes on multiplying polynomials. Has a quick warm up on distributive property to help students recall that before doing foiling. There are three examples, two of the examples are the same problems but one is using FOILing, one is using the box method. The third example is multiplying a binomial by a trinomial. I typically teach that using the box method. I will do one or two problems for each example and let students complete the rest in their table groups.
