It will bring humor and engagement to any classroom. My students typically show growth that puts them in the top 15% in their district. Addition and Subtraction of Integers
This lesson allows students to discover how to add and subtract integers. Use the rules for multiplication of integers to eliminate double signs. Manipulatives are used for students to conceptualize their understanding. I used yellow and blue hexalink cubes to represent positive and negative one. Watch the videos to see how the lesson/centre would work. Clone the pages to add as many questions as you want.
