Created by
Mr Buck
Students often find it challenging ot visualize volumes in calculus classes. This is a file to 3D print a model of a volume whose cross sections are semicircles perpendicular to the x-axis, whose diameter is defined by the distance between the curves y=x^2 and y=sqrt(x). The download is for an .stl file, which should be printed at very fine resolution. The printed model is 10x10 cm (approximately 4x4 inches).
