Finding and plotting coordinates is a 2nd grade math skill that can be linked to the new Common Core Learning Standards, as the student will be dealing with data. Students color the grid according to the matching coordinates. As the grid is filled in, it will reveal a Native American. Favorite Thanksgiving Food Pictograph

This activity is great for helping your students understand pictographs. It comes with a tally sheet, blank pictograph, and questions relating to favorite Thanksgiving foods. Students can survey their classmates, record their data in a pictograph, and analyze it.

Thanksgiving Graphing

Graphing can be hard for some to understand. I have created a fun Thanksgiving activity for students to do. On the first page students will count each Thanksgiving object and record the answer in the blanks at the bottom of the page. The next page includes the graph. The students will use their totals from the page above. Hope you enjoy this activity.
