High School Geometry Junction

Students will translate, reflect, rotate, and dilate to create the image of a turkey. The dilation is defined by a rule (coordinate notation) so technically, they do not need to know how to dilate in order to complete this part of the project. I describe the project in class, then assign it for students to complete over Thanksgiving break. This product contains homework worksheets for a Geometry Probability unit. Each topic includes a homework worksheet as well as mini quizzes that can be used as exit slips, warm-ups, or extra homework. Homework worksheets have a small review section at the top and then vary in length from 6-35 problems for students to complete. The average student will take about 15-20 minutes to complete the homework. These are tried and true worksheets that I have used in my high school classroom for years. E
